With more than 80 member organizations representing over twelve thousand affordable housing units around the state, Affordable Housing Association of Arkansas is dedicated to the enhancement of multi-family housing through promotion of professionalism of apartment management. Through this association, Arkansas rental borrowers, USDA Rural Development, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA), and other government agencies join in the common effort to improve the lifestyle of our citizenry by providing safe and affordable housing.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
Membership Dues are now due. You can find the Membership Dues form to the right of the page under "forms". Remember we have changed our year to a regular calendar year.
Advantages of joining--Discounts on training. If you are a member, your registration for the conferences are less; Training; we provide an annual conference and mid-year trainings for all property types. Mid-year trainings are usually held in the Little Rock area so that it is more centrally located for our membership. News; if you wish to share any information we will post announcements on our website. This includes employment opportunities. If you are in the process of searching for new employees, let us know and we'll post that for you. Advertising; if you have a website for your properties or your business, we will post this information under the "links" section on our website so that folks can go directly to your properties and find out additional information about your properties or business.
JUNE 2012 CONFERENCE
Our June conference will be June 12-13, 2012, at the Wyndham Hotel in N. Little Rock.

For our Associate Members, we will have vendor booths and you can download the vendor registeration form under the forms section on the right hand side of this page. We hope to see you there.
UPCS INSPECTION TRAINING/CERTIFICATION JUNE 14-15, 2012
2 days of "Need to Know" UPCS Inspection Protocol information designed specifically to help you comply with REAC, IRS USDA & HUD Federal Regs.
AHAA and ADFA are sponsoring a UPCS Inspection training/certification class June 14 and 15. This will be a 2 day class. There will be certification testing on Friday afternoon. Please click on "forms" on the right hand side of the page for registration forms and agenda. Class will be limited, so please register quickly.
This class will be held at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, N. Little Rock.
TAX CREDIT CERTIFICATION CLASS
AHAA will be hosting a Tax Credit Certification Class taught by Steve Rosenblatt, Spectrum, Inc. October 23-24, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Little Rock (201 S. Shackleford). This class will include a certification test at the end of the session. Please refer back at a later date for registration information.
