With more than 80 member organizations representing over twelve thousand affordable housing units around the state, Affordable Housing Association of Arkansas is dedicated to the enhancement of multi-family housing through promotion of professionalism of apartment management. Through this association, Arkansas rental borrowers, USDA Rural Development, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA), and other government agencies join in the common effort to improve the lifestyle of our citizenry by providing safe and affordable housing.
Membership Dues are now due. You can find the Membership Dues form to the right of the page under "forms". Remember we have changed our year to a regular calendar year.
Advantages of joining--Discounts on training. If you are a member, your registration for the conferences are less; Training; we provide an annual conference and mid-year trainings for all property types. Mid-year trainings are usually held in the Little Rock area so that it is more centrally located for our membership. News; if you wish to share any information we will post announcements on our website. This includes employment opportunities. If you are in the process of searching for new employees, let us know and we'll post that for you. Advertising; if you have a website for your properties or your business, we will post this information under the "links" section on our website so that folks can go directly to your properties and find out additional information about your properties or business.

Our annual conference will be June 7-8 at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in N. Little Rock.
Hotel reservations must be made by May 22. Our agenda has changed a little this year. We have a full slate of training all day on Tuesday. Great speakers and topics. We are bringing back the Developer's session on Tuesday afternoon this year. Due to the content of the training this year, we will not be offering a 1 day registration.
On Wed. morning we will be offering a buffet breakfast and then we will begin the Fair Housing Class at 8:30 going until 11:30. A grab and go lunch will be given on departure.

You can download the Site Manager Recognition form, which is listed under 'forms' on the right side of the page. These forms must be back to me by May 18, 2016 in order to get the plaques ordered and in prior to conference time.
