Welcome to the website of Affordable Housing Association of Arkansas. This website is user friendly and we hope that you will utilize all the information that is being added. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.
With more than 80 member organizations representing over twelve thousand affordable housing units around the state, Affordable Housing Association of Arkansas is dedicated to the enhancement of multi-family housing through promotion of professionalism of apartment management. Through this association, Arkansas rental borrowers, USDA Rural Development, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA), and other government agencies join in the common effort to improve the lifestyle of our citizenry by providing safe and affordable housing.
Advantages of joining--Discounts on training. If you are a member, your registration for the conferences are less; Training; we provide an annual conference and mid-year trainings for all property types. Mid-year trainings are usually held in the Little Rock area so that it is more centrally located for our membership. News; if you wish to share any information we will post announcements on our website. This includes employment opportunities. If you are in the process of searching for new employees, let us know and we'll post that for you. Advertising; if you have a website for your properties or your business, we will post this information under the "links" section on our website so that folks can go directly to your properties and find out additional information about your properties or business.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
The Dues statements for 2026 are posted under forms. Click Forms on the right side of the page and you can download the form. Make sure you send the form with your payment.
We are no longer selling paper leases to our members. All leases will be in electronic form. In order to be set up to do this on your properties, you must fill out the Electronic Lease Generation Order Form, that is listed under Forms on the right side of the page, fill it out in completion, be sure to add the number of units for each property, email it to me, I will approve and send it to Duane Tinsley. Mr. Tinsley will then contact you to get you set up. There is no additional charge for this set up for members of AHAA.
HOTMA TRAINING - AUGUST 12, 2026
We will be having a stand alone training from 8:30 - 4:30 on August 12, 2026, at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in N. Little Rock. The class will be held in Ballrooms 6 & 7. This class will be taught by Amanda Lee Gross, Osprey Compliance Collective, LLC. Please see registration form under "forms". Please note the sleeping room block has been extended.
